Danube band is one of the nicest and picturesque areas of the country. This one day tour offers you three towns, Esztergom, Visegrád and Szentendre with many interesting places. Driving towards Esztergom, the former capital and royal seat of Hungary, we pass a campus village which is one of the most beautiful examples of organic architecture in Hungary.
After a short driving through the forest we visit the basilica of Esztergom, its crypt and treasury.
The next town is Visegrád, where a 13th century castle provides amazing view over the Danube Band. Lunch is available in a renaissance restaurant as a king and queen.
Our last stop is Szentendre where once the Serbs lived and in the 20th century it became the town of artists. It provides a unique Mediterranean atmosphere. Museums, galleries, MicroArt museum, cafés, restaurants, souvenire and antique shops wait for you. In the summer we can return back by boat to Budapest or by minivan.
